Abstract: Ways to support Pr. Bradley Schmeling.
The support network for Pr. Bradley Schmeling and St. John's Lutheran, Atlanta invite people to stand in solidarity with Pr. Bradley and the congregation during the disciplinary hearing in January.
The trial will be a closed hearing, but worship services are scheduled at St. John's during the trial. Supporters are encouraged to sign up for a prayer vigil that will go on during the trial, to contribute "prayer cloths" for a prayer weaving that will be presented to the hearing committee, and to organize local worship services. Details are available on the Trial Update page on the St. John's web site.
The prayer vigil is slated to run from Friday January 19 though Tuesday January 23, indicating perhaps that this trial will hear more witnesses than some earlier trials.
